April 26 (UPI) -- Ricky Martin will headline this year's LA Pride in the Park concert. Christopher Street West Association (CSW), the nonprofit that produces LA Pride, an annual LGBTQ Pride celebration in Los Angeles, announced Friday that Martin will perform at the concert in June.

Ricky Martin will headline LA Pride in the Park, which will return to the Los Angeles State Historic Park on Saturday, June 8. This marks Martin's first-ever headlining Pride performance. Moreover, Martin will be the first openly gay Latin artist to take center stage at the popular Pride event.

Ricky Martin is kicking off Pride Month in a big way! On Thursday, Christopher Street West Association (CSW) announced that the 52-year-old will be the first openly gay Latin artist to headline the iconic LA Pride in the Park. The June 8 event will also mark Martin's first-ever headliner Pride performance.

Often described as the ‘King of Latin Pop,’ Ricky is bringing his signature movements and incomparable energy to the stage.
